GameStop will be taking in-store preorders for Wave 6 retro 3-pack amiibo this weekend. Beginning at 9AM (or one hour before your local store's opening time) on Saturday, August 8, amiibo hunters will be able to reserve R.O.B., Mr. Game & Watch, and the Duck Hunt dog with a $5 down minimum. Pre-orders are first come, first served, one pack per customer, and quantities are expected to be limited. This announcement comes on the heels of the release of Amazon-exclusive Palutena on July 27 and Best Buy-exclusive Dark Pit on July 31. The rest of Wave 6—Zero Suit Samus, Ganondorf, Dr. Mario, Bowser Jr., and more —are expected to hit shelves in September.
